Scholarship Details

Chef Jean-Louis Palladin is considered one of the culinary geniuses of the 20th century. He was a master of his craft, known for his creativity, passion, technique, and commitment to the very best. Jean-Louis was as much a teacher as a chef, encouraging and mentoring many while demanding perfection of himself and all around him.

The Jean-Louis Palladin Professional Work/Study Grant was created to perpetuate the mission and programs of the Jean-Louis Palladin Foundation.

Up to two annual grants for working chefs will be awarded for no more than $4,000 each.

Applicants must submit:

An up-to-date resume and cover letter
Two professional references
A detailed work/study plan alongside a detailed budget

Please note:

Half of the funding is provided up front and the other is sent after the program via reimbursement
Detailed expense forms and final narrative reports will be required for all accepted applicants
Reimbursement is contingent on the timely submission of the above documents
Applications are open for the Spring 2025 grant from March 15th to May 31st, 2025
